The South African Gymnastics Federation (SAGF) is the governing body for gymnastics in the geographic bounds of South Africa.
The SAGF governs 9 disciplines: Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics which includes Tumbling, Aerobic and Acrobatic Gymnastics, Rope Skipping, Gym for All, and Schools Gymnastics.  SAGF is affiliated to the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), the African Gymnastic Union (UAG) and the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC).
The Federation is actively involved from grassroots development to elite gymnastics in all the 9 Provinces of South Africa with the assistance of its provincial affiliates.

Gymnastics Championships and Extravaganza

An International Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship and Extravaganza will be held at the Arnold Classic SA 2016 from 27 – 29 May 2016 at the Sandton Convention Center. SAGF will host a number of international and national rhythmic gymnasts, who will come together and compete in the various aspects of rhythmic gymnastics. Show casing a symphony of movement that is exhilarating to watch be entertained by the amazing grace and glamour that rhythmic gymnastics imparts.
In addition to the Championships which takes place during the day of the 28th and 29th, the event will culminate on the eve of 29th May through a 1,5 hour Gymnastics Extravaganza which will showcase a variety of gymnastics disciplines through group performance displays.
  Come and see Africa’s top Rhythmic Gymnasts showcase their incredible grace, coordination, agility and artistry whilst manipulation hand held apparatus such as the ball, clubs, ribbon and hoop!
