Although armwrestling is an ancient pursuit, it has already gained recognition as an organized sport with a popular following in the western world, but it is still relatively unknown in South Africa.

The South Africa Arm Wrestling Federation has recently been founded with the aim of organizing, managing and promoting the sport in South Africa in order to unearth the wealth of latent local talent and to popularize it as a thrilling spectator sport.  Our Federation has already been recognized by the World Arm Wrestling Federation, which controls the sport globally.

We will be hosting a double elimination competition with classes for men and women in deferent weight categories.
