The South African Kickboxing Association (SAKA) is the official kickboxing association for South Africa. We practice all styles of kickboxing which are the following; Semi Contact, Light Contact, Kick Light, Full Contact, Low Kicks and K1 Fighting. We are internationally affiliated to The World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) who in turn is the only kickboxing association accepted by Sport accord. There are 81 registered clubs in South Africa and we present tournaments in the major centres on a regular basis. Being a member of WAKO we are automatically a member of the World Anti - Drug Association (WADA). Due to the nature of the sport we have a strict medical and equipment policy which must be followed. SAKA attends the WAKO World Championships every year and brings teams to South Africa. We also attend bilateral events with other countries. We enjoy our combat sport which builds character, discipline, and respect for one another and develops an excellent self defence capability.
