Tenpin Bowling Association of South Africa (TBASA) is the recognised official governing body of the sport of Tenpin Bowling in South Africa. We are affiliate members of World Tenpin Bowling, we also members of Bowling Federation Africa and Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Federation.

TBASA organises competitions at all levels of bowling nationally. We host tournaments at Bowling facilities in various Provinces in SA.

TBASA holds national competitions for singles and team events annually.

Tenpin Bowling as a sport is all inclusive, from youth to seniors, men and women.

There are currently 7 Provincial bodies that are affiliated to TBASA.

• Northern Gauteng Tenpin Bowling Association
• Eastern Gauteng Tenpin Bowling Association
• KwaZulu Natal Tenpin Bowling Association
• Midlands Tenpin Bowling Association
• Western Province Tenpin Bowling Association
• Eastern Province Tenpin Bowling Association
• Leagues are held throughout SA at various Bowling Centre’s.

These bowling centre’s are, Northcliff Bowl in Johannesburg, Koko’s Bowl in Dalpark Brakpan, LGB Eco Boulevard in Centurion, Dolphin Bowl in Amanzimtoti KZN, Magic Company GrandWest Casino Cape Town, Nitro Park Baywest Mall Port Elizabeth and soon to be Midlands Bowl in Pietermaritzberg

The Sport of Tenpin Bowling is a highly competitive, motivation and self-disciplined sport. TBASA encourages developing the social bowler into a league bowler, onto tournament competitor and advancing to Provincial level. It is a skill that can be developed and maintained across all age groups. The Sport is both fun and challenging.
