In training creche teachers and parents Kiddies Games activities and provide the platform to showcase these skills the Sport and Recreation contribute to skills development and instilling a healthy physically active lifestyle. Coupled to this is the instilling of good sportsmanship and fair play that is the basis of all competitive and professional sport. These games expose children to sport in a fun way with the emphasis on enjoyment and participation, rather than competition and winning. This year the Kiddies Games will be incorporated in the Arnold Sports Festival at the Ruimsig Stadium on 19 May. Kids will be exposed to the festival atmosphere, the excitement of the Sports Village, Cartoon characters and much more!
