The origin of Ringball

Ringball is a traditional South Africa sport that has been played since 1907. The sport is now promoted in South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, India and Mauritius to establish it as an international sport. The sport is played by males and females.

The Court/Players

Ringball is played on all-weather, grass or in-door courts. The court measures 27 m x 18 m and is divided in three equal parts, with three players per team in their own third. The team consists of three goal shooters, three defenders and three centre players. All players must play within their own third and cannot cross the line into another third. A netball court can also  be used  to play ringball, with minor adjustments.

 Are there age limits ?
